Otherwise, the character models are fine, and in combat is fine except for the white to gray and cursor color problems. I'm running Vista 64bit ultimate edition with amd athlon x64 dual core, 2 gig ram, ati radeon x series. Any ideas on what this might depend on? I knew a friend who's game did that, but I'm not sure if he was using the Hi-res patch. The solution we figured out was to use different settings for the grapics. Try clicking the box for Nvidia support, and try the different options; Rita or TnT.
He had his on "Rita" and it did all that freaky colors, but when he changed it to "TnT", it fixed and looked perfect.
Also, might I suggest you don't use the Hi-Res Patch at all. The game looks fine in Hardware Mode in x resolution, and if I remember hearing correctly, the patch is often buggy itself the one who created it said that himself I believe How did you get it to work.
I got the 1. A little more info on the error would help.. Try replacing your ff7. I only get that message after i install the high res patch. MetalX Supreme [H]ardness. I have an nvidia geforce go so i don't know whether i should pick the TNT or the Riva If i install the windows XP patch the game will atleast load not in high res though, just the standard x Any help would really be appreciated cause i love ff7 and have been looking for a way to crank up the resolution for well over a year now!
Draax Supreme [H]ardness. This hasn't typically been an issue with Square Enix ports in the past, but with Final Fantasy 7 Remake 's PC port, the graphics settings are limited to say the least. All there is for customization is display mode, resolution, texture and shadow quality, framerate limiter, character density, and HDR.
There are no anti-aliasing settings, no VSync toggle, no effects management like motion blur, or any options to tweak the game's forced resolution scaling mode which can only be disabled by a fan mod. By comparison, Final Fantasy 15 has these options in spades released in , and even Kingdom Hearts 1. A year and a half after the initial release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4, it would've been reasonable to expect these options would be available in its PC port.
It's especially problematic considering Final Fantasy 7 Remake was built on Unreal Engine 4, Epic's own game development engine. Fans are right to be upset here, especially after waiting over a year. GZFant Senior member. Feb 18, 0 0 www. I do understand exactly what you are talking about.
I too had FF7 with a high res patch in or so. I dug up my old CDs about 6 months ago and could not get the same patches to work. I am sorry it doesn't work. I wish it did so much. Yes, here is to hoping :beer:.
Once again I Here are some helpful links for those of you who keep asking me about the patches. It worked on my old game system, but the new game system wont run the hi-res patch. The game looks OK at x with heavy anti-aliasing. Lord Banshee Golden Member. Sep 8, 1, 0 0. Ika Lifer. Mar 22, 14, 3 Most of the patches I got seem to work NPC reconstruction mod, whatever else I installed, can't remember them now , except the High resolution mod would crash the game immediately upon start.
Not really sure what to do. At least the NPC character reconstruction mod will tide me over for a while. Capitalizt Banned. Nov 28, 1, 0 0. Just play the PS1 version and be happy.
It's just not the same on a PC. Imported Lifer. Sep 2, 14, 23 I might just have to dig this out.. Aug 3, 1, 0 0. Originally posted by: Capitalizt Just play the PS1 version and be happy. Oyeve Lifer.
