With that said, I highly discourge the use of any type of registry cleaner or optimizer, whether free or a commercial product. I'm not saying they'll cause problems in every case, but a program that blindly removes entries from the registry based on a predifined set of rules without knowing the system's actual configuration will eventually cause issues, in my opinion. As to removing unused orphaned registry keys to increase performance, I once read it was the equivalent to cleaning a dozen or so parking spaces in a parking lot the size of Montana!
Is it advisable to use Uniblue Registry Booster? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Thanks, G. Restart your computer and Uniblue is deleted now!

I used it and it runs perfectly. But like death said, it did ruin my computer once. But it looked like it was because I missed configured it. So to all ppl that trying to say thing about this program. I have Registry Booster 2 installed on 2 PCs. I first used it about 5 months ago on the XP machine.
In addition to the somewhat improved boot times and much faster load times for non-Microsoft products all pretty substantial , the number of system slowdowns and app lockups when I have probably too many applications open is amazingly reduced. Even after doubling the RAM max on this motherboard , it was sluggish.
After using RB-2 it runs really well. I run RB-2 about weekly on both PCs and it cleans up a fair amount of trash on machines that are used for everything from photo editing to WP and music editing and production. Absolutely worth the money. I have postponed replacing the XP machine because it now runs so well. Uniblue has forever changed my high end gaming pc for the worst!! I made the mistake of installing this worthless crap! After one hour of having Uniblue installed my pc froze and crashed over six times, Started having issues with explorer and alot of programs dont look right.
ASAP i uninstalled the software or at least tried to and did multiple system restores, nothing worked. I then manually updated all drivers to the correct ones, and again tried to uninstall uniblue.
No more crashes but, pc dont run the same anymore, virus scans still pick up somthing from uniblue, and pc is no faster than before. I have repeatedly tryied to contact Unible without success. They do not return emails and the contact numbers are bogus. It will do more harm than good uness you are a pc expert and can modify your registery manually which is the best and only way!!!!!! I have used Uniblue for three years, am a big time PC gamer, and Uniblue has only yielded positive results for my computers.
It has helped my computer run more efficiently. I use registry booster 2, it found over 70 errors, but only fixed about 13, and took up almost up to 2 hours to complete the repair. Does this normally happen, or is there a way I can fix this. Uniblue PowerSuite works fine with me at first launch. I need some explanation here! What kind of scam is this????? I have been spending the last two days trying to uninstall this hunk of crap.
But it is asking me to buy it agine. I just know serial number, how can i do? I have bought Uniblue , too. I did not notice it at first, but now I realize that many of my drivers and programs are not working anymore. I am not against Uniblue, and it actually improve my PC performance. However, Uniblue may need to find a better way of defining bad registry.
It should also warn its users about removing unknown registry. Thanks for the review and saving me the trouble of the reported problems here. I am running the cleaner and will stop it and return it after reading the problems.
I can read between the line to see that this is a bad program. I feel violated. I purchased a uniblue registry booster license and installed. It was a big mistake. At first it seemed to have done some good but then I found a few programs started doing weird things and few programs will not install or run.
How do I get out of this mess without reinstalling windows? I just want you all to know tha I amand have been a tech for over 5 years and Registry cleaners are all a scam. You might thin they work but in truth can the average computer user tell you what the registry really does? Stay awayfrom registry cleaners they are bad news…. So it improves boot time by 8 seconds, allegedly. I boot my pc once, maybe twice a day. Times 8 seconds is seconds or just over 1.
A year. Keep your money in your pocket. Then it started to run. Attempts to stop the program from running did not work. Had to End the process from the Task Manager. This program is malicious software, and a scam. If you really want a program that does this service, use TuneUp Utilities. I recently upgraded my computer from Vista to Windows 7. How can I make Uniblue work without buying it again? I used the same license key I used for RegisterBooster 2 and it registered fine. It would have been cruel for UniBlue to force you to pay for the software again!
I too, purchased Register Booster 2, I still have the invoice and when I entered the serial number I was given, which has to start with RB and mine does, I received an invalid serial number message, so they are not wonderful as some people make out.
I used this program because it was offered wit an AVG update. Must be kosher I thought. Used it and immediately started having problems. In particular firefox would just shut down after 2 or 3 moves. This program would not go away even after using system restore to 2 weeks before installation neither did it show up on the programs list to delete.
Firefox just kept on falling over despite reinstalling. Never going there again! I have been tempted at times to try others but after research and reading forums I always go back to my original three and always very happy that I did.
What can I say? After trying it, it crashed my machine continuously. I cannot recommend this. By the way, such things should be built into stupid Windows from the beginning.
